We booked for 1 PM and everything was ready when we arrived. Some family members were missing, and they were happy to wait until everyone was there. The main course was only a few minutes late due to the number of diners. The atmosphere was peaceful and the views were incredible.
The place has a beautiful view of the city. The steaks were delicious and the service impeccable, but... I found it very distasteful that at midnight sharp, they asked us to leave because the restaurant had to close. It was Saturday night, we were lingering over dessert, and it was still in our throats. A rather unpleasant moment, which was met with disapproval from the other diners. A 10 for food, but a 0 for hospitality.
The view is beautiful! The food was delicious, the calamari was fantastic and so fresh! For my main course, I ordered trout and mushroom sorrentinos, they were incredible. A beautiful place with impeccable service, I'd definitely go back! Highly recommended!
The restaurant is located within a gated community, so reservations are required for entry. Important note: If you're coming from the airport, the GPS will direct you to an entrance called Obrador. Do not take this route; they will not let you through and will redirect you along a nearly impassable 2km dirt track. You must force the GPS to redirect you to the main entrance. You have to "trick" the GPS if you want to avoid a difficult stretch by setting "EcoMuseo del Pedemonte Avenida Champagnat" as an intermediate point.
