While it wasn't the place, we were hoping to go.... It was an extreme experience to sit by the bar and interact with the chef who had an excellent playlist and great cooking skills! The steak was delicious. Bonus: they give you drawings at the end and you can color either argentinian football players or lilo and stitch!
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and recommend it to anyone looking for an elevated parilla experience. The service was great and our food choices were all hits. You have to try the hierro provaleta, it has the perfect level of sweetness. The steak was great and was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The stacked potatoes were our favorite side dish.
We decided to visit this place after doing a deep research before our Argentina trip. After finding the San Telmo Market where the place is - we were amazed by the atmosphere there. A lot of small restaurants, bakeries, and gourmet stores. A lot of people together sitting near the sharing tables eating and talking together. It was such an amazing experience. The service was really good. Our order was received right after we picked the table. The place was clean, and we didn’t wait long for the meal, about 20 minutes. The meals they served were delicious, easily one of the best restaurants and meals we had a chance to try. The Argentinian meat was amazing. And the way how it was prepared and served. It was a great experience. The waiters were willing to help and kind. In terms of pricing - the restaurant is affordable. We loved that place and can’t wait to visit in again. It’s a must have place to visit during Buenos Aires trip. We strongly recommend that place to others.
Hierro Parrilla San Telmo was an outstanding experience. I started with the morcilla, which had a Basque twist to it , easily the best morcilla I’ve had in Buenos Aires so far. For the main, I went with the tenderloin, and it was exceptional. Cooked perfectly and absolutely oozing with flavour, exactly what you hope for from a top parrilla. Great atmosphere, excellent food, and a place I’d highly recommend if you’re in San Telmo.
Kid-friendly spot with very tasty food and fun ambiance! Our kids were given crayons and little printouts to draw on while we waited for the food which is always a nice gesture! Food was very good, we had the #12 Pork sausage, #15 Classic XL pork choripan, #31 Hierro fries and some drinks. Everything came out pretty fast. Service was on point. We definitely recommend this place.
