Beoordelingen
If you're craving authentic French cuisine with soul, look no further than La Petanque in San Telmo. From the moment we walked in, the romantic, truly authentic French ambiance transported us straight to Paris—cozy, charming, and full of character. But the real magic starts with Pascal, the incredible owner. A true world-class food and wine aficionado, he greeted us like old friends and made us feel treated like royalty the entire evening. His attention to detail is unmatched, and his fantastic customer service turned a great meal into an incredible evening we'll never forget. Pascal's excellent wine recommendations perfectly complemented every dish—he knows his stuff and genuinely cares about making your experience special. The food? Absolutely outstanding. The beef bourguignon literally melts in your mouth—rich, tender, and bursting with flavor. And the steak tartare was hands-down the best we've ever had anywhere: unique, perfectly seasoned, and unlike any other version we've tried—simply amazing. Every bite showcased meticulous quality food preparation and those little touches that elevate everything. What truly sets La Petanque apart is the balance: exceptional food, warm hospitality, a dreamy atmosphere, and surprisingly good value for the price. We left feeling pampered, satisfied, and already planning our return. Highly, highly recommended—can't wait to go back! Thank you, Pascal and the team, for an unforgettable night. Vive la France in Buenos Aires! 🇫🇷🍷🥩
We stopped at La Petanque for a snack at one of their outside tables. We ordered the onion soup and oysters Rockefeller. What a treat! Everything was fresh and delicious. Even after it started to rain, we stayed outside to people-watch for a bit before going inside for a few more drinks. Everyone on staff was incredibly friendly, and made us feel very welcome. We ended up coming back for dinner a few days later, and had an equally fine experience. We highly recommend La Petanque, and would definitely return there on another visit to Buenos Aires.
