Description
At the scheduled time, we'll meet outside the French Embassy to begin the tour of Retiro & La Recoleta, during which we'll explore both neighborhoods.
Our first stop will be the Church of Pilar, a 19th-century architectural site. We'll then proceed to the Recoleta Cultural Centre, followed by a visit to the Faculty of Law Building, discussing its role in establishing Buenos Aires as the hub of Latin America.
Next, we will head towards the Floralis Genérica, a structure that opens and closes with sunlight. After learning about its significance, we'll visit the National Art Museum, which houses a variety of national and international works.
We will also stop at the Mariano Moreno National Library, an essential building for Argentine culture. Our tour continues to two small squares in La Recoleta: Plaza Mitre and Plaza Francia, where we will enjoy the local atmosphere amid artisan stores.
This guided tour will conclude after 2.5 hours at Plaza Francia.
