On this 2-day adventure from Buenos Aires, take a Buquebus ferry to Colonia del Sacramento, enjoy a ride on the sightseeing bus, and participate in a guided walking tour of the city.
On the first day, arrive at the Buquebus terminal in Puerto Madero. Your sea journey from Buenos Aires will begin an hour later with a 1-hour ferry ride across the Río de la Plata on a Buquebus vessel, concluding at the port of Colonia del Sacramento.
Upon arrival, a vehicle will transfer you to your hotel. You will have access to the Colonia del Sacramento sightseeing bus, a hop-on, hop-off service with 10 stops and a 50-minute route, allowing exploration at your own pace. Detailed route information and timetables are available onsite.
You will also enjoy a guided walking tour of Colonia del Sacramento, lasting approximately 50 minutes, departing from Stop 1 of the tourist bus at 11 am, 12 pm, 3 pm, and 4 pm. Sites visited include the Street of Sighs, Basilica of the Blessed Sacrament, lighthouse, and St. Peter's Bastion. After the tour, spend your evening exploring other sites or enjoying local cuisine before returning to your hotel.
On the second day, you’ll have the day free to explore at your leisure. In the afternoon, a vehicle will transport you to the Buquebus terminal in Colonia del Sacramento. Arrive by 4 pm for boarding at 5 pm. You will reach the Puerto Madero dock in Buenos Aires at approximately 6 pm.
