Our family came with a lot of high expectations. This is Franmcis Mallman's restaurant after all. 1. Portion size for the Flatiron steak was super small for the price and the moreover the meat was average to say the least 2.The potato domino was undercooked in the middle, and was not seasoned at all. Very underwhleming 3. The hostess completely forgot to bring our wine and had to be reminded- and furthermore she brought the completely wrong wines for me and my wife. 4. The beef ribs were really well made and the portion size was congruent with the price of the food. 5. Even the red wine that they served was cold 6. Not sure why, but the starters and the main course was all brought together- now for most restaurants we would not care, but this is a top class restaurant (supposedly) and the experience was not what it needed to be. 7. Finally, we definitely noticed a difference between the way the hosts treated us as opposed to the other people in the restaurant. There was no warmth at all. Quiet sad! Overall just a very bad experience in all. Not worth the trip to this place! We have been in Argentina for 7 days now and visited Buenos Aires and Chubut and gone from small restaurants to high class restaurants, and this was the only one that left us feeling disappointed. Only thing going for it was the beautiful views!

Beautiful place with a great view, and the bar area with the fireplace creates a relaxed, inviting atmosphere. Unfortunately, the food doesn’t live up to it. It’s overpriced and inconsistent. The vegetable platter had potential, but the purple onion was essentially a warm raw onion instead of properly caramelized—hard miss at this level. Service was good, but overall the food was hit or miss, and for the price, it felt like a letdown. Loved the “pão de queijo”. loved the parmesan. beyond that, nothing memorable except the bill and the view.

Meh. Not worth it. Had high expectations but the food overall underwhelmed, specially for the price. It’s clearly a hotel restaurant with Francis’s name as opposed to his signature restaurant, do not be confused. Little details, like cheaping out on the table olive oil, or a bread basket that looks pretty but is overall pretty poor give you some hints. Then is the food itself. I’ll let the picture speak for itself. Saddest entraña ever! Well cooked (a bit past what I asked for but ok) but underwhelmed. A serious restaurant would not have chosen that cut. Overall it wasn’t bad, service and atmosphere were fantastic but there are better places to go.
