La Choripanería

This choripán is fantastic—juicy, flavorful, and absolutely worth trying. The only downside is the lunchtime crowd. Apparently, everyone else had the exact same brilliant idea I did.
It feels like you will not get a seat, but do not worry! We were there on a national holiday with a busy market, and we were able to sit immediately to enjoy delicious choripanes and a beer. We had the Solapa and Gaucho. Do not forget the sauce! Did not feel rushed, food came quickly and was delicious! The atmosphere is great and people watching is fun. Even though it was crowded, we were comfortable and the server spoke fluent English. She was friendly and interested in us. Worth the stop!
Very lively market-based seating, it can be overwhelming for those who don't want to eat with the masses of tourists (and some locals). However, in return the meats are grilled really well and the salsa on top really accentuates the fat and protein in the meat. I recommend the sausage over the beef as the beef was not as moist and snappy as the sausage.
Overall quite nice. Good quality and spiced beef. I had the gaucho but with lamb instead of pork. Cooked well, the bread is very nice too. A bit on the oily side but very tasty. I would have liked if the provolone actually melted rather than being a thick block kinda like haloumi. Aioli sauce on the table was a nice touch but the picante oil I would not recommend as it wasn't that spicy, and, it added even more oil to the already oily choripan. Well priced for what you get and I would return. The centre itself though needs to have security managing the homeless people entering that place given it is as busy as it is.. like 2 people approached us asking for money, multiple times. And 1 guy was kinda aggressive.
Incredible!! But very crowded on Sundays This is arguably the crown jewel of the San Telmo market's food section. It gets crowded but the staff are very well trained and seat people as soon as they can. As soon as you get seated you get a few options for very creative choripanes. I ordered the gaucho which was SO TASTY btw 10% discount if you use cash so use cash!
