We are two couples who traveled from Miami and Colombia to explore the very best of Mendoza’s wine world. Our visit to Bodega Catena Zapata, the tasting experience, and the subsequent lunch at the Angélica restaurant have been, without question, the most extraordinary experience we have had in more than twenty years of traveling through iconic wine regions such as Rioja, Ribera del Duero, Champagne, Bordeaux, Burgundy, Napa, and many others. From the magnificent Nicolás Catena Zapata to the impeccable tasting menu at Restaurante Angélica, everything reached a truly exceptional level. The presence and personal accompaniment of Alejandro Vigil made the day even more remarkable. The professionalism of the team, the attention to detail, the warmth of the service, and the sensory delight offered in these spaces deserve six stars and a dozen Michelin awards. Thank you for an unforgettable experience.

One of the absolute best meals of my entire life and a place deserving of way more than one star after eating at dozens and dozens of Michelin restaurants. The staff is also beyond incredible and the sommelier is a true master of his craft.

I experienced the wine-paired lunch at Angélica Cocina Maestra in late January. They certainly live up to their Michelin stars! The service was top notch - Everyone was attentive and professional. The food was beautifully (seriously…gorgeously) prepared and complemented the Catena Zapata wines in a lovely way. The whole experience was a journey through Mendocino and Argentinian flavors curated by chefs, sommeliers, and servers who have deep knowledge of and passion for the work they do.

This restaurant takes you on a sensorial journey from farm to table. Ensure you book ahead. This concept is wine first, meaning that the wine is truly the sinner of attention of every single course. Every bite and sip will continue to surprise and amaze you.

This dining experience is unparalleled. We enjoyed the 10 course tasting paired with Angelica Zapata wines and had our best dining experience ever. It takes just over 3 hours for the experience and while expensive ($200pp) it is well worth it!
