Your adventure begins with a hotel pick-up in El Calafate, followed by a guided drive in a rugged 4x4 vehicle across the Chilean border to Torres del Paine National Park. Explore accessible scenic spots reachable by vehicle, enjoying views of waterfalls, lakes, and lagoons with short hikes at key vantage points. Learn about the park’s diverse flora, fauna, and geology during the tour.
The following day, a minivan will collect you from your hotel to visit Los Glaciares National Park. Travel 50 miles along a paved route bordered by rugged mountains and a glistening lake until you reach the Perito Moreno Glacier. Walk the 2-mile network of boardwalks with staircases and informative signs that provide excellent views of the glacier’s immense front face. Observing ice calving into the water is possible, weather permitting.
You may upgrade your visit with an optional 1-hour boat ride to experience the glacier closer, with extra cost. The tour concludes with a return to El Calafate in the early evening. Note that the order of the day tours may vary depending on the season.
