Description
We'll start our adventure by leaving the city of Córdoba at 8:00 a.m., crossing the picturesque Villa Carlos Paz. We'll enjoy a journey of about 1 hour and 30 minutes along Provincial Route 34, known as the Camino de las Altas Cumbres, which will give us impressive panoramic views of the mountain nature. When we get to our destination, we'll switch to 4x4 vehicles, specially designed for hard-to-reach terrain, which will take us to a mountain refuge, the starting point of this wonderful experience.
From the refuge, we'll start a trek of about 60 minutes along mountain trails, where we can enjoy an incredible forest of tabaquillos, an emblematic species of our mountains. Our tour will culminate with a visit to a majestic specimen almost 700 years old, known as the 'fulfiller of dreams,' a true natural treasure that inspires admiration.
Back at the refuge, we'll enjoy a typical mountain lunch, a culinary experience that combines authentic flavors of the region. After recharging, we'll start another trek that will take us to the impressive Cascada de los Lampazos. This 20-meter-high waterfall is a magical spot surrounded by the beauty of the mountains, perfect for relaxing, enjoying the scenery, and connecting with the environment.
After exploring the waterfall and marveling at its surroundings, we'll head back to the refuge for a delicious snack. Finally, we'll head back to the meeting point in the city of Córdoba, taking with us unforgettable memories of an experience that combines the splendor of nature, adventure, and mountain hospitality.
