My partner and I went to Dorado for breakfast, and we were truly surprised. The place is beautiful and very well decorated; you notice it as soon as you walk in. It has a modern yet elegant vibe, with stunning dark beams on the ceiling, light wood floors, and round tables with wooden chairs and neutral upholstery that are incredibly comfortable. We really liked how they arranged the different areas: up front, there's a wooden bar for specialty coffee (they offer takeaway), and further back, a spectacular cocktail bar with light wood paneling. You can tell the atmosphere completely transforms at night. It's also incredibly bright thanks to the large windows and an enclosed glass patio with plants that adds a really fresh touch. The ambiance is very relaxed, ideal for sitting and chatting; the music is soft enough to be heard, and the temperature inside was perfect. For our meal, we ordered two lattes, croissants, and a ham and cheese toastie to share. The croissants were so fresh, like butter, and the toast arrived piping hot, with the cheese perfectly melted and delicious bread. The specialty coffee was just right, absolutely delicious. The staff are fantastic, super friendly and polite. It's true that our order took a little while, but since the place was quite busy, it's perfectly understandable. They were also incredibly helpful and served us with a smile. The prices reflect the quality and the level of the place; it's not an everyday spot, but it's worth it. A highly recommended place in Neuquén to start the day; we're already looking forward to going back for dinner.
I went for breakfast on Saturday and ordered my usual: a cortado, two slices of toast, and juice. I really liked the atmosphere; it was very tidy, with a nice color scheme and a cool service system. You have a call button, and when you need one, the waiter comes over. The same system is used for paying the bill. I thought the price was very good considering the quality of the food and the ambiance. That evening, I went for dinner and ordered the grilled salmon. Again, the atmosphere was very nice, with soft lighting so you could easily talk without raising your voice. I ordered grilled salmon with vegetables. The service was very good, and the table was set with nice touches like oils, salt, and pepper. The dish was well-presented but a little overcooked; the last few bites were dry. To drink, I had a red fruit lemonade, which I must say I've had better. The payment process was the same as in the morning: you call the button, and a friendly person comes to take your payment. The price was fair for what you ordered. I will definitely return to continue trying the food, as I really liked the atmosphere and the service.
I tried the granola bowl, avocado toast, and orange juice — everything was delicious! I don’t speak Spanish, but the lovely waitress Belen did her best to help me and even translated everything for me 🫶🏻 Such a warm and friendly place!
