Sagardi Argentina

Sagardi in Buenos Aires was an absolute standout dining experience. From the moment I walked in, the service was exceptionally professional—attentive, polished, and genuinely welcoming without ever feeling overbearing. The staff clearly take pride in what they do, and it shows. The food was incredible. Sagardi offers a wide selection of pintxos (small bites), beautifully displayed along the bar, and I couldn’t resist trying almost all of them. Each one was unique, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared—it felt like a curated tasting experience rather than just a meal. I fully embraced the experience and, admittedly, overindulged—but it was absolutely worth it. I was seated right by the open grill, which ended up being one of my favorite parts of the experience. The warmth from the fire made everything feel cozy and intimate, and it added to the overall ambiance in a really memorable way. Beyond the pintxos, the hot dishes were equally impressive, rich in flavor and executed with precision. The wine selection complemented everything perfectly, elevating the entire meal. The atmosphere is lively yet refined, making it perfect whether you’re dining solo or with company. Overall, Sagardi delivers on all fronts—exceptional service, outstanding food, and a dining experience that feels both elevated and genuinely enjoyable. I would return without hesitation.
Stopped here for some lunch and had some great pinchos and some beautiful white wine (Blanco). The service was good and the ambience was great. Looks like it's got some really good food here. Might have to come back and try it later for dinner. They have some outstanding aged beef drying in a display cabinet. Came back for the aged beef and it tasted great.
We had a premium steak, shrimp and a salad, along with a bottle of wine. We felt very comfortable sitting on the terrace and were excellently looked after by the service staff. You could really sense the chef’s passion for his craft, and the food tasted absolutely fantastic because of it. We highly recommend this place — 100%!
One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Buenos Aires. Sagardi Asador is a must for anyone who appreciates top quality meat, great wine, and authentic Basque style hospitality. From the moment you walk in, the staff makes you feel welcome and the ambiance strikes a perfect balance between upscale and relaxed. The star of the show is the beef. Cooked perfectly over open flames, tender, juicy, and full of flavor. It’s exactly what you hope for when dining at a true Argentine steakhouse. The starters and sides were just as impressive, especially the grilled vegetables and the chorizo. Wine selection is strong, with knowledgeable staff ready to help pair it with your meal. And do not skip dessert. The cheesecake is outstanding. Sagardi is not just a restaurant. It is an experience. I will absolutely be coming back. Highly recommend.
Excellent menu with delicious steak, seafood and tapas. Extensive wine list and craft cocktails. I chose a green salad, which was a mix of greens with hard goat cheese, walnuts, and a balsamic vinaigrette. The salad was excellent and definitely enough for two or to be shared between four. For my entrée I had entraña, which is skirt steak. It was served medium rare, which is jugoso and was tender, juicy and delicious. The steak was served with hard boiled potatoes that Edmond slightly sautéed giving them a soft texture with a crisp crust. Most of the wines are from the Mendoza area of Argentina, which has an excellent wine and definitely could give Napa Valley or southern France a run for their money. Overall, the experience was excellent, and I find this to be an excellent value for the quality of the food and the service that I received. The restaurant is clean, comfortable and just a great atmosphere to sit in and enjoy a meal. I recommend strongly going to Sagardi for lunch, dinner or just cocktails and tapas.
