Took the 9 course tasting menu with the classic wine pairing. The food was good and also nicely presented, but the portions are pretty small for what you pay for. It would have been nice to have more of that asado or the sweetbreads. The atmosphere was good, but we were unfortunate to be with some tourists who became very loud after a few drinks.

As an experience I am giving this place 5 stars, the service is phenomenal and their attention to detail is fantastic. Each dish came accompanied with a very detailed explanation regarding the origin and preparation. We ate things that we usually we would not order and even those were more than acceptable. A+

Fogón is one of those rare places where the entire experience feels considered. It immediately reminded me of omakase in Japan, intimate, precise, and centered around the chefs. From the hidden entrance to the counter seating and nine course format, everything draws you in. The open fire at the center is stunning, and seeing the ingredients, technique, and preparation up close while hearing the story behind each element makes the meal feel deeply immersive. The service was extraordinary, the wine pairing was beautifully done, and the meats were among the best I have ever had. A truly memorable dinner.

Excelente gastronomic experience! We had 14-course meal. Good service, beside the before each dish the Team explained about it and for us they did shorter version compared to other guests, I believe because I translated in to other language. But in general it was great! Local ingredients, interesting flavours combinations. Totally different experience from others meat restaurants. Unique in Buenos Aires!!!

incredible attention to detail, service and dining experience. I booked a 12 person table for the lunch experience (9 plates) for the groom of a wedding party and his company, and it beyond expectations. We were a bit late, where they went around, asked and minded if they waited to begin, everyone agreed and they accommodated for the heavy traffic. Another point was that they were super generous with the wine, the portions for the food, and the plating was amazing. Very good food and great explanations from the chefs. They event gifted us a wine, which went to the groom, where they allowed him to select from a variation of three of the wines he had tried in the tasting, and it was completely free, alongside the amazing service he received and wonderful gift. Memorable day, and I do expect to come back for the 14 course in the future.
