The empanadas here were amazing and affordable! The best empanadas I ever had. The staff is very friendly as well and efficient.

Really good empanadas. I had the chicken and vegetable ones and both were fresh, baked right in front of me and not pre-made. The dough was soft but still a bit crispy, and the fillings were tasty without being greasy or too heavy. Simple street food but done really well. Honestly one of the best empanadas I’ve had in Buenos Aires so far. Worth stopping by if you’re in San Telmo.

The empanadas were good but nothing outstanding comparing to other places. I came here because they said “the best” but they were just normal.

Fantastic empanadas and clearly what this place is known for, which is very well deserved. There’s usually a long queue around lunchtime, which says a lot about the quality, but if you come later in the afternoon it’s a completely different experience. After about 4pm the market quiets down, making it easy to stroll in, grab a seat at the bar, and enjoy the food at a relaxed pace. Great flavors, casual atmosphere, and absolutely worth timing your visit right.

Very authentic place with cool vibes and great service, but the empanadas themselves were a bit disappointing as the chicken ones were quite dry and vegetable ones were almost not eatable
