Was pleasantly surprised by the food and coffee here. The avocado toast was filling and tasty, the quesadilla was good but too much American style cheese which ended up ruining them. It does get busy but the service is quick. Fair price for the portion sizes too.
Our cruise had us kill an hour before boarding a bus to airport. We hung out here while it rained outside and enjoyed scones and some hot chocolate. Clean, casual place. The pastries looked heavenly and I regreted my earlier breakfast.
We got off the ship this morning and this place caught our eye. It was our first time for submarine and they were excellent. We also split a alfajores cameras and it was great as well. I was going to say that the service was slow, but it was simply relaxed. Great place! Recommend that you stop.
We stopped by this cozy café near the port in Ushuaia, and it turned out to be the perfect spot to warm up in the cold weather. The coffee was really good, and the hot chocolate with alcohol was exactly what we needed. I tried the chicken burger and the omelet with chicken, cheese, and tomatoes — both were delicious. My friends had the beef burgers and loved them too. The fresh orange juice was amazing, but the highlight for all of us was definitely the cheesecake absolutely perfect. Even though most of the staff mainly speak Spanish, they were so friendly and tried their best to speak English with us, which made everything easy and comfortable. Overall, great food, warm atmosphere, and super kind service. Totally worth a visit if you’re near the port!
We visited Tante Sara twice during our visit in Ushuaia. The first time I had the French toast and it was incredible. The toast was thick and cooked well and the fruit that was served with it was warmed and delicious. So good I needed to go back a second time. I fortunalty the second time it wasn’t great. It was cold and didn’t feel fresh. Maybe it had been sitting for a bit before it came to us. I would still recommend checking out this restaurant. The vibe is good, and food is still tasty overall!
