Steaks, italian food and local favorites in this local institution. Our guide recommended this spot for a local flavor in Recoleta. Then, my friend gave the same recommendation. We had the bolognese and the ribeye steak, with sides. Seasoned waiter handled all of our questions and gave excellent service. Enjoy!
Excellent service, menu and atmosphere in this restaurant near Recoleta cementery. We had two of the lunch menues, very good prices.
Lovely cozy, traditional restaurant. I've been several times through multiple visits to Buenos Aires, since 2008. Seems like it has been around forever. I had the bife de lomo a la mostaza on my last visit, and it was delicious. Returning home to USA, I have reasonably replicated the mustard sauce they serve here. It is delicious. Service can sometimes need a little reminder, but not a reason to miss out on this gem. On my most recent visit, as a solo woman diner, I felt very cared for. I'll go back every time.
Outstanding. A large menu, great service, and good food. Recommended by our hotel, did not disappoint. We had two of their very reasonably priced lunch specials. The milanesa was the best. Very good fried potatoes. A busy place, as other reviews have commented, perhaps best to show up before the locals. The staff seems to know many of the customers. Great for people watching, as it is a slice of days gone by.
We checked in to a nearby hotel at 11 pm and there was no room service or restaurant there. They recommended this restaurant since it was open late. Walked over at midnight, and ordered a salad and a hamburguesa. I was surprised to see the hamburguesa come as one plain patty, but it was probably the most delicious burger I’ve had anywhere. The beef was succulent, flavorful, juicy. The crust on the burger was savory and crispy with a delicious crunch. I gobbled that burger with a local wine and it remains the best midnight snack I’ve ever had.
