What a feast. I found this restaurant in Google near the hotel. The ambiance was super nice, dimmed lights, quiet and not crowed. The staff(brother working the grill and waitress sister) were super friendly and helpful. The food? Omg, let me tell you that it was top quality. The steaks were delicious and cooked just like we order it. This was the best steak I've ever had. Don't take my word for it, just go and try it.
Great ambience and music! The steak was very good but the star was the Burrata salad, beautifully presented and beautiful flavours! The leche flan was good, again beautiful presentation! The wine by the glass was smooth and locally produced! Nani was exceptional with her service, so very patient with my very small Spanish vocabulary. Nani has a beautiful aura and was very obliging accommodating my every whim! Try for yourself, u will be very pleased with the culinary offerings!
The best Argentine parrilla by far I've gone to in Buenos Aires (a caveat is I've only been to 5 :) all meat grilled on a wood grill, perfect in terms of level of requested. Great quality of the beef, the best salad and provoleta I've had in this trip. The server gave great suggestions in terms of food and wine seeking a balanced meal without just trying to make us pay more. All suggestions were on point. Not cheap but not as expensive as many other ripoff restaurants in this overpriced city. I will definitely try to come back.... And recommend them for their quality and integrity.
We all know the meat in Argentina is something special but I got surprised when their burrata was equally excellent! Much better than every burrata I've eaten in Italy. My second visit to this restaurant and definitely going there more times! 👌👏
Huacho Fuegos is located in a somewhat hidden area, but it feels nice and safe, and it’s absolutely worth finding. The restaurant has a casual vibe with a simple, unpretentious setting that lets the food and service shine. The staff are extremely kind and helpful, and the service was truly exceptional. Someone we believe was the owner even came to our table to check on us and ask if we needed anything, which added to the very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. We started with a beet and blue cheese salad, which was fresh and full of flavor. Since this is a steakhouse, we ordered steaks for both of us, and they did not disappoint. We could see the steaks being cooked on the grill, and they arrived thick, perfectly cooked, and exactly medium rare. One standout surprise was the pumpkin cheese dip. The presentation was lovely, and even though we’re not usually fans of pumpkin, the flavor was amazing. Overall, it was a very good experience with excellent service, well-prepared food, and a relaxed, welcoming environment. Definitely recommended.
