Looking at the other reviews, I'm not sure if they are applicable to this particular place as the Lai-Lai is a street facing kiosk with seats and tables outside. There are 4 or 5 kiosks in a row selling almost identical food, we just chose this one because the fried rice portion was larger and we wanted to share it. The kiosk looks clean and the food looks freshly made. We tried quite a few things : Chicken fried rice was very nice, not oily at all and worked well with the other dishes Sweet and sour chicken was by far my favourite, juicy and large portion with a delicious. I would definitely buy more here. The gyozas were very good as well. Full of pork and a bit of chives, with a classic dough. Just lightly grilled and not greasy. The pork bun was nice, but for me, too much dough and not enough filling The last thing were pork and dough balls. They were ok, but not enough pork for my liking. When you order the food, it's warmed up in a microwave for you. This is unusual for me, but for the price we paid, I can't complain. And finally, the outside tables and the light paper plates and serviettes were a bit if a challenge as it was a little windy. There were bottles with sauces available, but not cups for sauces, so you either have to put the sauce directly on to the food or on a paper plate. In our case, the wind picked up and tipped the plate and the sauce went everywhere 😭🤦 Overall, this is one of the cheaper place in the complex and it is quite delicious.
