I’ve been so far 2 times in this restaurant and every time I’ve meet the best meat in Ushuaia . Very tasty and delicious. The service was good and the atmosphere was nice. At arrival is a list and you pout your name on and how many people you are, then wait for a table, but the time waiting is not very long . I recommend.
Highly recommend! Cosy atmosphere with tasty local dishes at good prices - Probably the best value restaurant in the tourist centre of Ushuaia. My partner had guiso de cordero (lamb ragú) and thought it was delicious and well-cooked. I had the gnocchis with tomato sauce, which were plain but ok. Like with the rest of Argentina, the standard of pasta is very poor (compared with other countries) so the gnocchis were decent for Argentina, but heavily overcooked for the global pasta fans. Can’t fault the restaurant though since this is just the local style. Vegetarian options are very limited.
The seats were full of bread crumbs, and the waitress with a butterfly on her neck just looked at us while we tried to clean the seats, she was quite rude when taking our orders. The decor was nice. The pork in orange juice was good, but we didn’t finish the pasta in red sauce. Not worth queuing for this place
Delicious, comforting food and well worth the visit. The lentil stew was rich and flavorful, and the lamb was perfectly cooked and tender. The place was a bit hectic and the wait was longer than expected, but the quality of the meal made up for it.
Bodegon Fuegino is one of the most popular restaurants in Ushuaia, so it's recommended to arrive at opening time to avoid waiting in line outside. Despite the large crowds, the service is fast and the food is excellent, served in generous portions. The atmosphere is very welcoming and the staff is extremely friendly and professional. The quality/price ratio is also excellent. Highly recommended.
