Colegiales Neighbourhood Argentine Asado

Enjoy a typical Argentine asado at a local family's home in the Colegiales neighbourhood.

What to Expect?

After meeting at the indicated time on Calle Olleros in the Colegiales neighbourhood, we will proceed to a local family's home. Upon arrival, guests will be welcomed with provolone and a glass of white wine from northwest Argentina. The host will light the grill and explain the different cuts of meat being served. This is an opportunity to ask questions about Argentinean meats and their preparation. We will learn about barbeque techniques, seasoning ingredients, and cuts of meat.

While the meats, chorizo, and blood sausage are grilling, participants will prepare the famous chimichurri sauce using fresh ingredients on the table. Once the asado is ready, we will enjoy the various cuts of meat with traditional sides, paired with classic Malbec wine from Mendoza. A dessert and coffee will be served at the end of the meal. The experience lasts approximately 2 hours.

• Homemade carrot cake with dulce de leche
• Sautéed mushrooms (vegetarian option)

The barbeque will be accompanied by white wine and Malbec, along with Colombian coffee or tea and water.
