Guided tours

With this tour of Villa Devoto, you'll discover one of the residential neighborhoods of Buenos Aires, notable for its architecture and gastronomy.

Villa Devoto Tour

At the time of your choice, we'll begin the tour of Villa Devoto in Plaza Arenales. After learning about the history of the Argentine soldier referenced in the esplanade, we'll proceed to the highlights of this residential area.

The first stop will be at the School of Agriculture of the University of Buenos Aires, where we'll explore the legacy of English florist John O. Hall. Next, we'll pass the Antonio Devoto Library, named after the Italian immigrant who lent his name to the neighborhood.

The tour will continue to the Basilica of San Antonio de Padua, one of the district's main temples. Following this, we will visit Devoto Station, constructed by British employees of the Pacific Railway, located in the English area of Villa Devoto, which includes its own school and an Anglican church.

We will also stop at the Antonio Devoto High School, the former residence of the neighborhood's founder. Then, we'll proceed to the corner of Habana & Segurola, a significant location connected to Diego Armando Maradona, with insights shared by the guide.

After an hour and a half of walking, we'll conclude the tour in the gastronomic hub of Villa Devoto, an area filled with bars and restaurants offering the rich cuisine of Buenos Aires. Bon appetit!
