Description

NATIONAL PARK: Tierra del Fuego National Park is the southernmost national park in the world and the only one in Argentina with mountains, forests, and sea. The tour begins at the VIP Lounge and heads to the park, with a guide explaining the local fauna, flora, and history. Before entering, there is a stop at the Fin del Mundo Station, where you can take a historic train ride. The tour includes visits to Lake Roca (Acigami), with a walk along the shore, lunch at the Alakushi restaurant with its indigenous museum, and the iconic Lapataia Bay, the final landmark on Route 3. When accessible, we also visit the 'Post Office at the End of the World.' Return to Ushuaia at the end of the day. BEAGLE CHANNEL CRUISE: We board at the tourist port of the Beagle Channel. The Beagle Channel is cut in the middle by an imaginary line that divides Argentina and Chile. We sail through Argentine waters, but we also enjoy the mountains and islands on the Chilean side of the channel. Right at the start of the navigation, we can already enjoy the beautiful 'Bahía Ushuaia' and observe the privileged position of the city, which is surrounded by magnificent mountains and glaciers. On the way, we pass by Bird Island, where we admire various Fuegian seabirds, such as skuas, albatrosses, seagulls, cauquenes, and ducks. We arrive at the famous Sea Lion Island, which is home to two types of sea lions. Alongside them, you can also see cormorants, which are often mistaken for penguins. Sailing a little further, we arrive at the iconic Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse. There are other colonies of cormorants, both imperial and rock cormorants. Throughout the trip, the guide tells us a little about the local history and also about the animals and islands we see. We return along the Argentine coast, seeing Playa Larga and the port. OFF ROAD 4X4: Get ready for an adventure and adrenaline-filled excursion - considered by many to be the best off-road circuit in Tierra del Fuego. After picking up the 'adventurers' at their accommodation, we set off towards the famous Ruta 3, where we see snow-capped mountain ranges, winter resorts, the Olivia River, and where part of the movie 'The Revenant' was filmed. We also pass by an extraordinary viewpoint, Paso Garibaldi, with a spectacular view of the hidden lakes and Fagnano. In addition to the entire route along Ruta 3, which is steeped in history and unique beauty, we entered an area of forests, old woodcutters' trails, frozen lagoons, lakes, beaver dams, and breathtaking views. And in this setting, we began our 4x4 adventure. After an off-road circuit, we arrive at a refuge on the edge of the lagoon where we are served unlimited drinks (wine, water, and soda) and a cold appetizer, followed by wonderful Argentine beef, sausage, and roasted potatoes. On the return to the city of Ushuaia, you can choose to stay in the center, at the port, or at your accommodation.
