Description
On this 5-hour program you’ll be taken to a parilla (restaurant) in Palermo at around 20:30, where you’ll enjoy a selection of Argentinian specialties from the a la carte menu. Beverages such as wine and beer are included with your meal. Afterwards you’ll have the opportunity to admire the beauty of Buenos Aires at night, taking in its illuminated monuments and historical sites. Drive along Avenida Libertador and Los Bosques de Palermo to Avenida 9 de Julio. Continue along Corrientes Avenue, the Broadway of Buenos Aires. Pass by the Obelisco and stop for a half hour at the Plaza de Mayo, a bustling place at night. Your tour continues on the Avenida de Mayo to Plaza Congreso, where you’ll stop for a look at some extraordinary buildings. Drive through San Telmo to end the evening in Plaza Dorrego, with its unique atmosphere of tango music and dancers. Enjoy a nightcap in a café, bar, or ice cream parlor. It's all your up to you – stopovers are flexible and can be adapted to your interests. The driver will take you back to your hotel. Note that the 5-hour format is flexible and your driver/guide will not be counting the minutes. Alternatively, instead of dinner at a parilla you can choose to visit a peña, which is a local folk music bar that features traditional food from different Argentinian provinces. With this option it is recommended to see the city sights first since the peña is open later than a restaurant.Includes
