Great steakhouse with five-star quality at a one-star price. The steak is delicious, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the value is hard to beat. Definitely the kind of place I’d bring my date next time.

We had a great meal here at Elena. I would not let the negative reviews deter you from this was one of the better steaks we had and we enjoyed sampling the different salts on it. We also had the roasted cauliflower and papas frías. Our meal was delicious and our server was friendly 1 the somm picked out a delicious Malbec. All around great last dinner in BA

This restaurant is very expensive so you would expect the food to be excellent. However, overall the food was very disappointing. We ordered the provoleta, mollejas (sweet breads), bife de chorizo, and the zapallo (squash). The flavors of the provoleta were very good but the cheese was dry as a bone and cold inside. The sauce with the mollejas was delicious but the mollejas were heavily smoked and it completely ruined the flavor and texture. The squash was also extremely dry and unpleasant. I have had 5 steaks over the past two weeks in Buenos Aires and by far this was the worst. The fat on the outside was the only tasty part. The meat itself was flavorless and very chewy. Super dissapointing. In terms of service, all staff were very friendly. However, I was asked at the beginning of service if I had a food allergry and I said yes, gluten. Shortly after I was given an amuse bouche. I waited and asked the waitress if it was gluten free and she said no. So they took it away and said they would be back with a gf option. She never brought me one. Then they tried to serve me regular bread. I had to ask again and was told that I couldn't eat it so they would bring me gf bread. They did after I asked. At the end of service I was once again served complementary desserts with gluten. You would think there would be much better attention to allergies in such an expensive restaurant. On a positive note, the restaurant is absolutely beautiful. Too bad the food doesn't match.

Simply Amazing - the best of EVERYTHING! The staff, atmosphere, bar - everything is top tier! Staff is wonderful. Chef was kind enough to give me a tour of the meat aging freezer - what a treat! This is a must go place for a real view into Tier 1 Argentina meats and service.

Omg insanely good. Probably one of the best meats I had while in Argentina. We ordered the baby goat, the big T-bone, and the wagyu. I thought the wagyu was going to be the best and it was good but the T-bone was incredibly delicious! The service, wines, sides..all delish too. We paid ~300 USD for 3 people (2 guys, 1 girl) which I felt was super reasonable and we were all very satisfied.
