We had a fantastic experience at the tango show! The dancers, singers, and musicians were all phenomenal. We were entertained and captivated from start to finish. The driver that picked a group of us up from various hotels was very kind. Ticket includes 2 drinks per person (water and soft drinks count). You will be seated with just your party at a small round table, making the experience feel more intimate.

We visited El Viejo Almacén as a group of five based on a friend’s recommendation, and it turned out to be a very enjoyable and memorable experience. We chose the dinner-and-show option, which allowed us to enjoy both the cuisine and the entertainment in one evening. The tango show was excellent—beautifully produced, engaging, and filled with incredibly talented musicians and dancers. The performance lasted approximately an hour and a half and kept us entertained from beginning to end. A special highlight was the closing performance by Hugo Marcel, whose rendition of traditional and well-known Argentine songs was both impressive and moving. The dinner consisted of a three-course menu with a good variety of options to choose from, and wine was included with the meal. The food was enjoyable and complemented the overall experience well. Overall, I would highly recommend El Viejo Almacén to anyone visiting Buenos Aires for the first time. It offers a wonderful introduction to Argentine culture through music, dance, and cuisine, making it a great way to spend an evening in the city.

This is a review of the dinner (poor) and the show (great). For the cost, the dinner wasnt great. The choices were limited, as it is a fixed menu. One steak choice, one chicken choice, and two separate salmon choices, which seemed strange for Argentina. When the food came, it could had had more taste. Empanadas were dry and not falvorful. Chicken was dry and quickly soaked up the small amount of sauce. Dessert was good, but the mousse was still frozen in spots. The show was great! Dancers were excellent and enjoyed being right up close. Gaucho section was fun and enjoyable. They had Hugo Marcel as a closer, which I imagine is great for those from Argentina. Brought us one drink before the show, and even though we had a vip spot, we never saw the waitress again. We saw several other tables being served, so it wasnt that. All and all, the show saved the review from being 1 star all around.

This was a really good dinner and tango show in San Telmo. Definitely recommend buying a ticket beforehand as it was sold out even on a weeknight. The dinner was actually quite good. The meat was some of the tastiest and most tender we had tried since being in Buenos Aires The show was dramatic. Loved the different tango dancers and the other performers, highly recommended to go to a Tango Show when visiting this city.

I wanted to be part of this cultural event to make it part of my life as this experience will stay with you forever. I booked the full event that includes transportation and dinner prior to the show. Transportation was on time and very courteous, the dinner takes place in the adjacent restaurant is also owned by the theater and the meal was very good, the service was excellent courteous and attentive. You have four items to choose from in each category of the menu and there's enough for everybody's taste, also included is wine served with dinner. Next door is the old theater that is small and quaint, so you are close to the performance on stage. The dancers, musicians, singers are top performers in their own category and also compliment each other. I recommend to everyone who visits Buenos Aires to experience this cultural step back in time in a beautiful setting that is very authentic. ♥️👍
