If you’ve ever dreamed of walking through a snow-covered forest under the stars, guided only by the silence of the night and your sharpened senses, this is your chance to live an unforgettable sensory experience in the heart of Tierra del Fuego. We’ll pick you up from your hotel in Ushuaia and head to a winter center located 21 km from the city, deep in the Tierra Mayor Valley. Once there, your guides will explain the details of the adventure you’ve chosen. Both options end with a cozy dinner and an exciting ride through the snowy forest pulled by husky dogs — loyal, intelligent, and perfectly adapted to this icy terrain. Option 1: Snowshoes + Husky Sled Ride Begin your adventure by strapping on snowshoes for a peaceful 30-minute night hike through a frozen valley. Guided by the soft crunch of snow underfoot, you’ll cross a subantarctic forest of lengas, ñires, and coihues. The stillness of the night and the snow-covered landscape will heighten your senses and create a truly magical atmosphere. Back at the dome, warm up with a delicious homemade stew, mulled wine, and soft drinks, and enjoy the company of fellow travelers, accompanied by live guitar music. After dinner, hop on a sled pulled by Husky dogs and glide through the snow under the moonlight before returning to Ushuaia. Option 2: Snowmobiles + Husky Sled Ride This adventure begins with a brief driving and safety tutorial before you ride your own double-seat snowmobile. Drive along a 4 km moonlit circuit of frozen peat bogs and valleys under the stars — a thrilling experience like no other. After the ride, regroup at the dome for a comforting dinner with stew, mulled wine, and soft drinks, accompanied by live guitar music. End the night on a high note with a magical Husky sled ride through the forest, returning to the city filled with wonder and adrenaline. This unique winter night excursion combines nature, adventure, and culture — all wrapped in the mystique of the southernmost forests of the world.

Important Information

• It is mandatory for people to be dressed appropriately and wear waterproof trekking boots or snow boots. They must be warmly dressed (we recommend dressing in layers: base layer, fleece or coat, gloves, hat) and have a waterproof jacket and pants. If they do not have the specified items, it will be at the guide's final decision to determine if they are fit to participate in the excursion.
