Considered “Living testimony to civic memory” by the Museum of the City and 'Place of tourist interest' by the National Tourist Secretary, the El Querandi restaurant is one of the most intimate venues in Buenos Aires to experience the romanticism of the Tango.

El Querandi

Established in 1920 as a bar, El Querandi underwent restoration in 1992 and is housed within a historic mansion dating back to 1867. With a seating capacity of 190 people, each table is privately set, enhancing its inviting decor.

The Show

The show “Nuestro Tango” narrates the history of Tango from 1860 to the present day, featuring four dancing couples, two singers, and an acoustic quartet. The performance lasts approximately 75 minutes and is divided into five parts, including an open bar. Reservations are available for just the show or with dinner included.

Dinner With or Without a Wine Pairing

A dinner option is available, featuring various cold and hot appetizers and a choice from 20 main dishes including meats, fish, and pasta. The dinner includes wine from the Finca Flichman vineyard, soft drinks, mineral water, coffee, or tea. A wine-pairing dinner is also available, featuring a menu paired with regional wine selected by a sommelier, lasting 1 hour and including wine tastings paired with regional appetizers.

Transfers depend on the option chosen:

• Show only without transfers: no transport included.
• Executive show: includes hotel pickup and return, plus an appetizer or dessert and drinks.
• Dinner, show + transport: includes hotel pickup and return.
• Wine tasting + Dinner + Show: return transfer included; pickup not available. Departure from El Querandi at 11:30 pm.

Pickup is available only from Centro, Microcentro, Recoleta, and Palermo.
