After meeting at Torre Monumental at the designated time, we'll begin this tour of the Mugica neighbourhood, also known as Barrio 31. Prepare for a colourful journey.
We'll explore how the street art movement began in this neighbourhood, the significance of its murals, and the artists behind them. As we wander through the streets, surrounded by the traditional houses of this Latin American neighbourhood, we will search for one of the most famous graffiti paintings in the district: the one of Diego Maradona.
We will learn about how each spray of graffiti tells the story of everyday life for Mugica's residents. Their beliefs, customs, and identity are reflected in these artworks, showcasing geometric figures, faces, labour, local literature, and even football. You'll have the opportunity to meet young artists as well.
Finally, after a total of 2 hours, this tour of Mugica's street art will conclude.
