Buenos Aires, Argentina
On this film tour of Argentina's capital, we'll visit various locations throughout Buenos Aires, where many movies were filmed.
Description
Buenos Aires, known for its cinematic quality and architecture, has been featured in many films. Meet at the back entrance to the Patio Bullrich Mall in Retiro and embark on a journey through the city to explore these sites.
During the tour, we will use a tablet to show scenes from Argentine films filmed in Buenos Aires, pinpointing exact locations of iconic sequences. The route focuses on three films: 'Nueve Reinas,' 'Relatos Salvajes,' and 'La Historia Oficial.'
In 'Nueve Reinas,' we will discuss scenes with Juan and Marcos, featuring actors Gastón Pauls and Ricardo Darín, including their attempt to steal a winning check, and make a quick stop at the hotel significant to the film.
Next, explore 'Relatos Salvajes,' where Darín portrays Bombita, visiting key locations like the confectionery and police station. For 'La Historia Oficial,' we will see the corner depicting the main characters' drive in a green Ford Falcon.
The tour lasts approximately two hours and concludes at the hotel where the Spanish imposter in Nueve Reinas buys the nine queens, plus a screening of a comical mishap from Relatos Salvajes featuring Érica Rivas.
