Description
Departing from your hotel in Ushuaia, the tour heads east along National Route No. 3 and Route 'J' to the Lasiphashaj River. Here, you will board inflatable canoes equipped with provided rubber boots, overpants, and lifejackets after a safety briefing. Paddle through the river into the Beagle Channel, observing rugged coastlines and remote beaches.
While navigating the Beagle Channel, you may spot various seabirds and sea lions commonly seen en route to Estancia Harberton. At Estancia Harberton, transfer to a motorboat to reach Martillo Island, where you can see Magellanic and Gentoo penguins in their breeding habitats.
The journey continues to Gable Island, where you will have lunch accompanied by Patagonian wine, soft drinks, and mineral water. After coffee, take a guided hike across beaver dams and forest trails to the Beagle Channel shore. Finally, return by boat to Puerto Harberton and then by bus to Ushuaia.
