Description
The trek starts just 20 minutes from the city center and covers 14 km of wild trails, ascending beyond the vegetation line along a meltwater river. The route passes through Los Tempanos lagoon before reaching Vinciguerra Glacier.
Mountain clothing is required for this tour. If you lack appropriate gear, rental options are available. Essential items include trekking boots, a waterproof jacket, and adequate protection for Tierra del Fuego's climate. You will also need a backpack, water bottle, gloves, sunscreen, and sunglasses.
Trekking poles and crampons (if necessary), along with your boxed lunch, are provided before the activity begins. The guide will determine suitable stops based on weather and group conditions. After the trek, you return via the same path where a bus awaits to take you back to your hotel.
