Description
Depart Buenos Aires at 11:00 from Avenida Santa Fe and Laprida for a two-hour transfer to the ranch located at kilometer 144 on Ruta 3. A bilingual host will greet you with an Argentine vermouth or cocktail and bruschettas, outlining the day's itinerary.
The narrated asado showcases nine traditional cuts—chorizo, morcilla, sweetbreads (molleja), kidney (riñón), colita de cuadril, lomo, vacío, classic asado, and pork matambre—each introduced with explanations about its origin, preparation by the asador, and cultural significance. Wine, water, and lemonade are served throughout the meal.
Between courses, guests can explore the grounds and personally interact with calm, approachable horses and foals.
The experience concludes with postre vigilante (quince paste with cheese skewers) and a shared mate ceremony where you learn about the tradition and its role as a symbol of Argentine friendship. Return to Buenos Aires is scheduled by 18:00.
