Sea Lion Snorkeling Experience in Punta Loma, Puerto Madryn
Swim with sea lions in their natural habitat at Punta Loma Protected Natural Area, Puerto Madryn, Patagonia. This activity suits participants aged 6 to 67 and requires no prior swimming skills.
Description
For about 40 minutes, you will snorkel alongside sea lions using a lightweight diving suit, snorkel, and mask. The activity promotes respectful wildlife observation, prioritizing animal and environmental care. Boats adhere to strict ecological standards to minimize impact.
The experience begins with a 15 to 20-minute boat navigation led by expert sailors knowledgeable about local marine fauna, including birds and other marine mammals. This schedule aligns well with cruise passengers, allowing time to explore the city afterward. Tours typically operate between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m.
