Description
Enjoy a unique experience at the Perito Moreno Glacier: an exclusive nighttime visit that will let you walk its walkways under the light of the full moon and the stars. This excursion, which is only held on selected dates, will give you the opportunity to see the glacier from a completely different perspective. When night falls, the park empties and the silence highlights the sounds of the ice. The moonlight transforms the landscape and creates an atmosphere that's impossible to recreate during the day. During the tour, a professional astronomer will guide the observation of the southern sky, pointing out constellations and sharing stories and curiosities about the Patagonian sky. You can also take part in a light painting activity, a photographic technique that uses moving lights to create unique images with the glacier in the background. The excursion includes transport from your hotel in El Calafate, the accompaniment of specialized tour guides, and special after-hours admission to Los Glaciares National Park. Drop off is around midnight.
