Description

The tour begins with a hotel pickup in Ushuaia, heading out on National Route No. 3. The first stop is at Carbajal Valley’s viewpoint to observe the glacial valley and Olivia River. Continuing along the route, you will visit tourist centers in the valleys before arriving at Garibaldi Pass Viewpoint, the crossing point of the Andes. Here you will see panoramic views of Escondido and Fagnano Lakes.

You will then descend via an alternative path to start the off-road segment toward Lake Escondido. The route enters the Fuegian forest along historic logging roads exclusive to 4x4 vehicles. You will reach Lake Fagnano to observe natural features including the Magellan fault.

Lunch is served at a traditional Fuegian inn by the head of Lake Escondido. After the meal and conversation, the return journey to Ushuaia begins.
