Description
Depart from Salta and travel south along Provincial Route 68, enjoying panoramic views of farms and tobacco plantations in the Lerma Valley. Observe traditional adobe and clay tobacco chimneys and watch tobacco leaves drying in the sun.
Pass through the town of Alemania and see the red mountains and unique rock formations, including the 'Devil’s Throat' and 'House of the Parrots.'
Arrive in Cafayate to visit one or two local wineries, where you will learn about the wine industry and torrontés grapes. After lunch, return to Salta by an alternative route, offering a different landscape from the morning journey.
