  • Enjoy folk dances and watch gaucho carriage demonstrations.

Description

In the early 20th century, Italian immigrant Silvano settled in the Pampas and, in 1940, acquired a 380-hectare estancia from the Lennon family of Irish origin. The property features a 1930s Victorian-style main house and remains in the family’s fourth generation. Originally informal gatherings grew into overnight stays, now welcoming guests to experience this rural heritage.

The tour starts with pickup from central Buenos Aires hotels and transfer to Exaltación de la Cruz, known as the birthplace of gaucho traditions. Upon arrival, guests receive empanadas and drinks before a guided tour of the estancia and its facilities.

Next, enjoy a traditional criollo lunch featuring Argentine barbecue (asado), accompanied by live folk music and typical dances. The day also includes a demonstration of gaucho horsemanship skills. The visit concludes with an afternoon merienda of coffee or tea, pastries, and tortas fritas (fried dough cakes).
