Description
The tour begins on Route No. 40, crossing the Limay River, which marks the border between Río Negro and Neuquén provinces. Passing through the Huemul peninsula and Puerto Manzano, the route continues toward Villa La Angostura and then follows the Seven Lakes Route.
Nahuel Huapi Lake, one of the largest glacial lakes in the region at 529 square kilometers, is a key feature of the tour. Additional lakes include Lake Villarino, surrounded by coihue forests and mountains, which connects to Lake Falkner. Lake Machonico, known for its calm dark blue waters, is visible between two mountains along the route.
Arriving in San Martín de los Andes, the tour includes views of Lake Lacar before returning by the same path to hotels in Bariloche.
