Description

Escape the pace of the city for a few hours and discover the Tigre Delta from an authentic perspective: paddling along its streams and getting to know island life up close. Your adventure begins at the meeting point located at the entrance to the Club Hispano de Tigre. There you'll meet your local guide, who will accompany you to the canoe departure point. Before entering the water, you'll receive a brief introduction on paddling technique, gear use, and safety measures. With your life jacket on, you'll board the canoe and begin an approximately 1-hour journey through calm streams surrounded by vegetation. As you paddle, you'll be able to observe the flora and fauna of the Delta, its houses on the river, the wharves, and the boats that are part of the daily life of its inhabitants. Your tour guide, who has known and explored the area for many years, will share stories, interesting facts, and details about the identity of the place with you. You'll also pass by iconic sites, such as the area around the Haroldo Conti Museum. After paddling, you'll arrive at the wharf of an authentic island house. There, you can relax by the river and enjoy a traditional snack with mate or coffee, accompanied by croissants or pastries with dulce de leche. It will be a time to rest, chat, and discover what it's really like to live among rivers and streams, far from the usual tourist routes. Finally, you'll return to Tigre by boat on a journey of approximately 15 minutes. From the water, you'll be able to see the Delta's landscape again, this time from a different perspective. The activity takes place in a very small group, with a maximum of two participants, allowing you to enjoy an intimate, peaceful, and personalized experience. It's an ideal option if you're looking for nature, an outdoor activity, and a genuine encounter with island culture.
