Description

We start the tour by picking you up at your accommodation in the city of Mendoza. Before heading for the Cordillera, we'll take a stroll around the main squares, the Quinta Sección, and the General San Martin Park, so in addition to the mountains, you'll have a short city sightseeing tour. Our first stop is at Cerro de la Gloria, where you'll have a few minutes to enjoy a panoramic view of the city. Now we start our way to the mountain: we go through Cacheuta and cross the Cacheuta-Potrerillos Tunnel. The second stop is at the Dique Potrerillos, one of the most iconic landscapes in Mendoza. We continue through Uspallata, and if you like, we can add a third stop in Penitentes or Los Puquios, to finally arrive at the Aconcagua Provincial Park. Here you'll have time to explore one of the most iconic landscapes of the Andes Range. If you like, you can hike to the Horcones Lagoon, an easy self-guided trail of approximately 2 hours that's suitable for everyone. The route follows well-marked trails until you reach the Mirador de la Pared Sur vantage point, where you will find beautiful views of the Horcones Lagoon and Aconcagua Hill, the highest mountain in America. If you don't want to do the full hike, there's a much shorter route, about 300 meters, which also takes you to a vantage point with an excellent view of Aconcagua, so you can enjoy the scenery without going on the long trail. Once the visit to the Aconcagua Provincial Park is over, we continue to Puente del Inca. There, you'll have time to explore the vantage point, get a close-up view of the famous natural bridge of geological origin, and learn about this UNESCO World Heritage Site. When we finish there, we'll stop for lunch at a local restaurant. Lunch is not included in the price of the sightseeing tour and is paid directly on site [you will find different dining options to choose from right there]. After lunch, we begin the return trip to the city of Mendoza. The return trip takes approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes, and we drop you off directly at your accommodation.
