Description

Embark on the María Turquesa cruise to explore the Southern Patagonian Ice Field, the world's third-largest ice reserve, from the comfort of an air-conditioned ship.

The day begins with a sail across turquoise Lago Argentino, framed by mountains, hanging glaciers, and floating ice. You will approach the Spegazzini Glacier, the highest glacier in the park, with its walls rising 135 meters above the lake.

Next, the cruise heads to the Upsala Channel, navigating among large ice floes that have broken from the glacier. Note that due to natural conditions and safety, access to the main face of the Upsala Glacier cannot be guaranteed every departure, and the route may change without refund.

The ship stops at Puesto de las Vacas for a guided interpretive trail walk, explaining local history, flora, and fauna. The cruise then continues sailing past the Perito Moreno Glacier, with an optional pre-booked visit to the footbridges and viewpoints (not included in the base price).

Onboard service includes gourmet dining, air-conditioned lounges, and outdoor decks. Seasonal variations may affect the menu.

The itinerary is subject to weather, safety conditions, and National Park regulations, which may cause changes without prior notice.

The tour concludes with a return to the port, completing a full day immersed in one of Patagonia’s most notable natural environments.
