Description
Your tour begins with hotel pickup in El Calafate and transfer to Puerto Punta Bandera to board a comfortable vessel. If you have not yet purchased your Los Glaciares National Park entrance ticket, your guide will direct you to the point of sale.
Sail through the North Arm of Lake Argentino, passing the Devil's Mouth (Boca del Diablo), and enter the Upsala Channel. Experience sailing among enormous icebergs that have calved from Upsala Glacier.
Continue to the Spegazzini Channel to observe hanging glaciers including Seco, Heim Sur, and Peineta. The tour culminates at Spegazzini Glacier, the tallest in the park, with a height exceeding 135 meters.
Disembark at Spegazzini Base in front of the glacier. The modern Spegazzini Refuge offers necessary services and a dining option featuring regional dishes. The refuge also provides panoramic glacier views.
The tour features fully accessible infrastructure: ramps, elevators at Punta Bandera dock, floating docks for disembarkation at Spegazzini Base, accessible restrooms on vessels and at the refuge, and accessible trails and viewpoints.
Walk the new Spegazzini Glacier walkways and visit the Agostini Viewpoint for expansive views of the glacier.
