The tour begins with hotel pickup from select downtown El Calafate locations for convenience. From there, embark on a 35 km 4x4 journey to the hilltop viewpoint, enjoying expert commentary on the Patagonian landscape.

At the summit, capture 360° views of El Calafate, Lake Argentino—Argentina’s largest lake—and, seasonally, glaciers and the Patagonian Ice Field, including Cerro Fitz Roy and La Torre in Chalten.

Descent options must be selected when booking and cannot be changed later:

  • 4x4 Descent: Travel down the south slope; stop for a walk to the Labyrinth of Stones, a natural rock formation. In winter, slide 240 meters down on a “culipatin.”
  • Trekking Descent: A guided 90-minute walk on the north face, passing the Cretaceous-era valley and offering views of Lake Argentino.
  • Zipline Descent: Descend via an exclusive circuit of four zipline lines totaling 2,920 meters in length.

After the descent, visit the oldest house in Estancia Huyliche and enjoy a snack.
