LONG DESCRIPTION We invite you to discover the province of San Juan on a private tour from Mendoza, with two options tailored to different interests: a full-day cultural and scenic experience in the city of San Juan, or a two-day nature adventure exploring the stunning Valle de la Luna (Ischigualasto) and Talampaya Canyon, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Both options include exclusive private transportation, a professional tour guide, and personalized service throughout the tour, ensuring comfort and flexibility. Option 1: City of San Juan (Full Day) Ideal for those who want to discover history, culture, and foothill landscapes in a full day. The tour starts along National Route 40, heading north. Upon arrival in the capital of San Juan, we will visit the Metropolitan Cathedral and the historic Birthplace of Domingo Faustino Sarmiento (optional admission not included), one of the most iconic sites in the country. We'll then head to the modern Teatro del Bicentenario and then take the traditional Circuito del Sol, passing through the stunning Quebrada del Zonda. The landscape is complemented by panoramic views of the Ullum Dam and the Punta Negra Dam. There will be free time for lunch (not included) and an optional visit to a typical winery in the region with a wine tasting (not included). Drop-off in Mendoza in the evening. Approximate duration: 10 hours. Option 2: Valle de la Luna and Talampaya (2 Days / 1 Night) Designed for lovers of nature and geology, this option lets you explore two of the most impressive parks in the country. Day 1: Early departure to San Juan Province to visit Ischigualasto Provincial Park, known as the Valley of the Moon. The tour inside the park is led by official park guides and includes iconic formations such as Cancha de Bochas and Valle Pintado, in a landscape reminiscent of the age of the dinosaurs. After the visit, transfer and overnight stay in Valle Fértil (accommodation not included). Day 2: Visit to Talampaya National Park, where you'll explore the imposing Talampaya Canyon in authorized park vehicles. Admission to the park and the tour inside in an authorized vehicle are included in this option. Then, drop-off back in Mendoza, arriving in the evening. Approximately 48 hours in duration.
