Description
Your adventure starts with hotel pickup in Ushuaia. Travel to Valle Tierra Mayor and visit an interactive dome for a guided tour of the 'Antarctic Explorers' exhibition, learning about explorers' challenges and their impact on Antarctic knowledge.
After the exhibition, ride a snowmobile (solo or shared) on a 6-kilometer route across the frozen valley. Pass through snowy forests and rivers, with stops to take photos and learn about the local ecosystem.
Next, board an authentic tracked vehicle, similar to those used at Antarctic scientific bases. During the 4-kilometer journey, your guide explains how equipment and supplies are transported in extreme conditions.
Arrive at the MINIBASE ANTÁRTICA, a replica scientific base. Explore living quarters, research labs, and storage areas. Participate in interactive activities simulating scientific tasks such as glacier measurement, sample collection, and meteorological analysis.
At the base, enjoy a themed snack featuring hot drinks and energy foods similar to those used by explorers. Afterward, return to Ushuaia by transport provided.
