Description
The experience begins with a hotel pickup and transfer to Estancia Huyliche, where you will familiarize yourself with the UTV UForce 1000 4x4 vehicles. After a practice session, the tour ascends Cerro Huyliche via the Arroyo Calafate ravine to Los Balcones, featuring panoramic views including Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre.
The guided tour proceeds at moderate speeds focused on adventure and nature observation, not competition. From the upper balcony at 1,100 meters, the route descends along Cerro Huyliche’s southern face toward the Cañadón del Arroyo Moyano and the Labyrinth of Stones. Here you can see wind-eroded rock formations, caves, and marine fossils. A hot soup, snack, and refreshments are served before continuing back to Estancia Huyliche.
After approximately two hours of driving, return to the estancia for a meal of local cuisine prepared in the old workers’ house. Participants can also visit the pens and historic shearing shed. The total experience lasts about three hours before transfer back to your hotel.
