Description
This is a fantastic day hike to one of the best mountaineering venues in the country, Vallecitos. Here we will take a day hike to the little known 'Cascada Del Medio', close to one of the varios base camps used in the area.
The idea is to get an early start so we can really take advantage of the day, then we will drive 2 hours aprox. to the trailhead. From there its all hiking, on trails that are mostly in good condition, and with spectacular views. We will stop for a picnic lunch at around 3600m above sea level, and then continue on to the Cascada del Medio (Waterfall of the middle), before heading back to our transport and then back to the city.
This is a great trek for all abilities, and requieres no prior experience, however a good level of fitness is recomended!

Important Information
- In this activity we will be walking for at least 6 hours, although the axact amount of time is subject to conditions, and the group. Please come prepared for a day hike, and remember we will pass over 3600m of altitude.
Please also remember that the conditions will vary according to the season, and so the clothing required will be different to summer.
