Description

The Experience

Step into Pepe's home in La Quinta Sección, one of Mendoza's most historic neighborhoods, steps from Parque General San Martín, and spend a few unhurried hours inside a real Argentine asado.

From the moment you arrive, you're welcomed into a private family home and a beautiful backyard, where the fire becomes the center of the gathering. Our Asadores are more than grill masters, they're your guides, storytellers, and hosts from the first pour to the last.

You'll be right there at the grill as the asado comes together, learning the ins and outs of Argentine open-fire cooking: how the embers are built and read, how each cut is handled and timed, the history behind the tradition, and how we make our family's chimichurri from scratch.

But you're not standing on the sidelines. You'll be part of it.

Ask questions. Get involved. Get close to the fire. The asado is never served all at once, it unfolds, one cut at a time, each in its own moment. The choripán and the matambrito de cerdo are eaten standing at the grill, the way it's truly done here. Then everyone moves to the family table, where a premium Malbec is opened and the cima de vacío and banderitas are carried over and shared together.

Along the way there's Fernet, Argentina's iconic drink, and wines poured from some of Mendoza's finest bodegas, a rotating selection from the wineries we partner with, matched to the cuts as they arrive. We close the way every great asado closes: the aplauso para el asador, a tasting of alfajores from Entre Dos, and a parting gift as you head out.

Everything happens in one place: a beautiful private home, an open fire, exceptional Argentine food and wine, cultural storytelling, and a small group of travelers from around the world who won't feel like strangers by the end.

Guests arrive as strangers. They leave as family.
