Description

After only one hour of ascent in the forest and in a high altitude valley, you arrive at the Turquoise Lagoon. With its greenish color it looks like an eye at the bottom of the valley. Here we make our first stop to enjoy it up close. We continue ascending by a ridge, the Gotama ridge to reach the rocky path that leads to the summit of Mount Carbajal, whose ascent does not present much difficulty and that rewards us with stunning views of the valley. Carbajal and its wetlands. We have lunch at the summit if the weather permits before returning through another valley, the Olum, to make a loop.
