Description

We depart from Ushuaia on National Route 3, which will accompany us throughout the tour of Tierra del Fuego National Park. Our first stop will be the End of the World Station, where you can take (optionally) the old Prisoners' Train, now converted into a tourist train that revives part of the history of Ushuaia's origins. Then, we will enter the unique landscapes and ecosystems of the park. We will visit Ensenada Zaratiegui Bay, a place where mountains, forest, and sea combine in a single postcard view. There you will also find the famous End of the World Post Office, where, if it is open, you can stamp your passport or send a postcard from the southernmost tip of the continent. We continue to the Acigami Glacier Lake (also known as Roca), surrounded by forests and mountains. We will walk along its shore and, weather permitting, see the imaginary line that divides Argentina and Chile on the other side. The last stop is Lapataia Bay, the end of National Route 3 and also of the iconic Pan-American Highway that connects Alaska with southern South America. A symbolic place, full of history and natural beauty. Throughout the tour, there will be short walks to enjoy the surroundings and learn more about the flora, fauna, and geography of Tierra del Fuego. The day before the tour, we will inform you of the pick-up time (this varies depending on where you are staying). Please leave us your WhatsApp or email contact information so we can get in touch with you.
