Description

We'll leave Ushuaia on National Route No. 3, which will take us through Tierra del Fuego National Park. Our first stop will be the End of the World Station, where you can (optionally) take the old Prisoners' Train, now converted into a tourist train that revives part of the history of Ushuaia's origins. Then, we'll dive into the park's unique landscapes and ecosystems. We'll visit the Ensenada Zaratiegui Bay, a place where mountains, forest, and sea come together in a single postcard. There's also the famous End of the World Post Office, where, if it's open, you can get your passport stamped or send a postcard from the southernmost tip of the continent. We'll then head to the glacial lake Acigami (also known as Roca), surrounded by forests and mountains. We'll walk along its shore and, weather permitting, we'll see the imaginary line that divides Argentina and Chile on the other side. The last stop is Lapataia Bay, the end of National Route 3 and also of the emblematic Pan-American Highway that links Alaska with southern South America. A symbolic place, full of history and natural beauty. Throughout the tour, there will be short walks to enjoy the surroundings and learn more about the flora, fauna, and geography of Tierra del Fuego. We'll let you know the pick-up time the day before the tour (this varies depending on where your accommodation is). Please leave us your WhatsApp or email contact so we can get in touch.
